Robert Edgar Waters, 75, passed away Friday, February 20, 2015 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.
Robert was born October 30, 1939 in Winterset, Iowa, the son of Bert and Georgia (Pace) Waters.
Robert is survived by his wife, Sharon (Wignall) Waters; children: Darlene Waters and her son Kenneth Waters; Cyndi Waters and her children: Myles and Kerigan Cooper; Robert “Robby” (Mary Lou) Waters Jr. and their sons: Jason, Justin and Austin Waters; and Russell “Rusty” Waters; great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Kalie, and Evinn Lippart; brother John Waters; and a host of many other beloved friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: JoAnn, Leona
and Leonard.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Des Moines First Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2317 Watrous Ave, Des Moines with a visitation for an hour prior to the service.
