Debby Shuput

Debra “Debby” Shuput, 54, passed away Friday, January 23, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center.


Debby was born September 11, 1960 to Ronald and Shirley Broughton in Honolulu, Hawaii. She retired early from Budget Marketing due to health reasons. Following her retirement, she worked for Boesen the Florist. Debby loved football and NASCAR and was an avid Green Bay Packer and Jeff Gordon fan. She enjoyed fishing, scrap booking, dancing and music. Her favorite artists were Elvis, Donny Osmond and Toby Keith. Debby’s grandchildren were her world and the loves of her life.

Debby is survived by her children, Linda Shoemaker, Mark Travis (Tara) Shuput and Rhonda Belieu; grandchildren, Kaleb “Duck”, Mason, Gavin, Kaiden, Danny “Toad”, Meredith, Benjamin, Baily and Heavenly; parents, Ronald and Shirley Broughton; brothers, Ronald D., Michael R. and Steven L. Broughton; and a host of extended family and friends.

The family will greet friends Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by a memorial service that will begin at 12 p.m. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.
