I met Vicki @ Nevlyn Junior High in Ankeny. We were inseparable for years and enjoyed many adventures into the unknown. I will never forget our trip to Georgia in Vicki's Corvette. I drove straight thru coming home in the dark fog while Vicki slept beside me. Wow what faith! While our lives went in different directions, our memories remained clear and our paths crossed occasionally. Rest in peace my dear friend. I will never forget you & will forever cherish your memory. Am blessed to have shared a time in this life with you. Loren and Gary, I am so very sorry for your loss. I know how much you loved her and she loved you. Troy, you have an amazing mother and her legacy will live on thru you. John, you have my deepest sympathy. Find comfort in your memories. She waits for you and watches over you in a better place with dad, Mabel, and "Nonni" flanking her, and Loren in her loving arms!

There are no words to say to comfort the pain you must feel. I only hope that you will take some comfort in knowing that Vicki, while working at the House of Mercy, touched many women and children's lives. She really cared for those that suffered. What I will always remember her for is her million dollar smile.

I'm so saddened to hear about Vicki's passing. She worked for me many, many years ago, at Montgomery Ward Service, and we used to have a blast. I saw her a few times when John Jr. lived across the street from me on E. 36th st. We will keep you in our hearts, our thoughts and our prayers.

John, Troy, Jodi, family,
Vicki was such a good friend of more than 35 years, what a beautiful person inside and out , this breaks my heart that u have to now go on this journey of life without her. thanksgiving morning I went to pick up the phone to call her as usual , and reflected back to all the memories I'll cherish forever that I have; I pray that u will all find peace in ur memories. I know she is smiling in heaven as she took Loren's hand and they are walking the streets together. My thoughts are with u all, she was the best and loved u all so very much! may God hold u close, love to all, Pam
