Service Details
Louise McQuerry, 91, passed away October 22, 2014. Services will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at Faith Tabernacle Church of God, 131 9th Street, West Des Moines, IA. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines, IA.
Louise was born August 30, 1923. She loved to cook and eat, was an outgoing socialite, and loved to fish. Just like her Dad, Louise was a member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Harrison (Roxanne) Pollard; 6 grandchildren, Harrison (Donna) Pollard, Jr., Camron Scott (Cassandra) Pollard, and Renata (Elroy) Bernard; 14 great-grandchildren; family members, Charlene Gross, Alice Talton, George and Barbara Spencer, Janet Eden, Don McQuerry, and Clifton McQuerry; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas McQuerry; her parents; and her sister, Ruby Spencer.

Mother McQuerry was a wonderful person and a loving and caring friend to me and my family. Her beautiful smile, loving spirit and caring attitude said it all! She will be deeply missed!
