Michael E. Thomas

Michael Emmett Thomas, 43, was born November 6, 1970 in Des Moines, Iowa. He passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Joann Thomas; son, Nicholas Hocker (fiancé, Brianna Thompson); grandson, Tobias Williams; mother, Connie Thomas; siblings, Ronny Thomas, Danny (Flo) Thomas, Tommy (Connie) Thomas, Larry (Anne) Thomas and Tim Thomas; parents-in-law, Bob and Rita Gustafson; sister-in-law, Carmen Gustafson; brothers-in-law, Todd Gustafson and Brian Gustafson; numerous nieces and nephews; other loving relatives and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald E. Thomas and his nephew, Joe Thomas.
The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 27, 2014 at Windsor Heights Lutheran Church, 1240 66th Street, with burial to follow at Glendale Cemetery.
