Awour B. Deng, age 31, died Thursday, October 16, 2014.

Awour was born January 1, 1983 in South Sudan, Africa to Rigina Zakria Atem and Boing Meyar Deng. She was employed by TPI making wind turbines.

She is survived by her children:
Aguer Nyok Deng
Arop Nyok Deng
Deng Nyok Deng
and Omnia Nyok Deng

her father, Boing Meyar Deng

and her siblings:
Adau Biong Meyar Deng,
Deng Biong Meyar Deng
and Nyanbol Boing Meyar Deng.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rigina Zakria Atem; aunt, Nyanthethey; and uncle, Manoght Zakria Atem.

Services will begin at 10:00 am Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
