In addition, she was a talented pianist and harpist and taught 45 piano students per week up until the time of her stroke. Dear Max, I was surprised and saddened to hear of your wife's death. I am only a year older and Lionel and I were married a few weeks before you. This is pretty close to "home". I didn't know Sallie Lee well and it was interesting to know of all her involvements. I gasped at 45 piano students. She really was busy. My thoughts are with you and I pray for your comfort and renewal.

We met Sallie to enroll our daughter to learn Piano. She was graceful to accept our daughter as her student.. She taught Piano to our children for over a decade. Sallie was a very talented musician and we will miss her. She was friendly and personable and always expected students to be punctual for the Piano lesson. She helped our kids to understand value of Music and its impact on our lives. She greeted us with a smile every time we visited her and remembered to ask us how we are doing. She had warmth and kind heart. Lot of good memories! We will miss you, Sallie !!!

Sallie will be missed by all of her extended family in addition to all her students and friends. We have so many good memories of all our many family reunions at our different homes. I especially remember the Thanksgivings we spent together when our children were young.
I remember bringing her harp from Chicago in our station wagon and how glad we were to get it safely home. I will always remember how she was so happy each time she would count how many relatives she would acquire when she & Max were married. I was pleased to be asked to be her matron-of-honor at their wedding. Many happy memories!
Glad she is with her Lord and free from suffering and pain and we will meet again.
