Jerry Britton

Jerry Major Britton, 81, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

Jerry was born September 20, 1933 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Chester and Chryle (White) Britton. Jerry loved life. Many of the things he enjoyed doing were sitting in his recliner in his four seasons room and drinking his morning coffee, going out to eat, and watching movies.

He will be dearly missed by many, but mostly his housemates, Lary, Larry and Herman, and his direct care staff at Mosaic.


A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October 29 2014, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
