Cathy, Eddie and Dicky. Sorry to hear of your loss. She was always good to me. Unfortunately I went off the deep end when my Dad passed away, and it took me a few years to make my way back. I think of all of you often. I didn't get to say good bye when your Dad passed away because I didn't hear about it. He was an awesome person. Sending you good wishes and prayers to you all. God will be with you through this time of need. BLess you all. Deb

We will miss our dearly beloved friend/life long neighbor. We had the upmost respect for her. After losing our parents, Shirley became like a mom to us. It melts our hearts not seeing her across the alley and her walking over to set outside with us enjoying our fire pit, just sitting and chatting or sending over a dinner to her. I know Andy looked up to her with his whole heart. She sure was a classy lady! We know she loved us as much as we loved her. Our hearts still ache, missing her so much. She is in a better place now, and I know she's watching over us. I can still hear her laughter, she sure was a fun person. God Bless her family and know you all are in our thoughts and Prayers.

These are tough times and I am sorry for your loss. I will have nothing by wonderful memories about Shirley and the fun times we had together, the laughs, the tears, eating our way through the State Fair, shopping and all the other fun things we did over the many years. I will miss seeing her each time I return to Iowa. She was the best friend a person could ever have....even tho there were times we did not always agree. We would just laugh and carry on.

Cathy, Ed and Dick, I am so sorry. Aunt Shirley was the most vibrant, funny, opiniated and loving person. I loved her so very much. I remember Christmases you guys drove to Illinois, and all of the trouble we got into. I cherish every memory. She is with the angels she collected and the family who went before her. Love you guys!
