Arlien and I worked together 35 years ago. What a sweet, generous and gracious lady she was! In 1980 I was single and pregnant. Not a very popular situation to be in back then! Airline ( darn auto correct now won't let me type her name!)took me under her Angel wings, threw a baby shower and made me a beautiful baby blanket, which I still have and cherish. All the while managing to change the attitudes and opinions of the office ladies about me. She was truly one of a kind! I have thought about her many times over the years and was happy I could pay my final respects. She will always have a special place in my heart. My son is now 33 years old and one of the loves of my life. I wish I could have told airline while she was hear on earth how much she meant to me. I will never forget her. Rest in peace, dear sweet lady. I hope one day I can be half the saint you were.
