Marie Rose Kauzlarich, 89, passed away Monday, July 29, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born September 20, 1923 in Mystic, Iowa to Joseph and Nellie Milburn.
Marie is survived by her children, William Kauzlarich, Karen DeHeer, James Kauzlarich, David Kauzlarich, Jack Kauzlarich and Kenneth Kauzlarich; granddaughter she raised, Tracy Zeller; ten other grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tony Kauzlarich and daughter, Patricia Montenguise.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday August 1, 2013 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery.

I enjoyed having you for a neighbor many years ago. Pat Purviance and I enjoyed going on walks and stopping and talking to you. R.I.P. Marie, you will be missed.

I am very sorry for your loss. I knew Marie 30 years ago. She was a good woman with a lot of love. I hope you keep the best memories that you have of her close to your heart. I know I will. My sympathies to Tracy, Carey, Chris and Tony (my Des Moines family) and love to you all.
