My deepest Sympathy to Jack and families in the loss of their beloved wife and mother. I will always remember Jack and Marlys as kind and caring neighbors while we lived in Johnston, Iowa. They both will always have a very special place in my heart.

I am so sorry for your loss. It has been many, many years since I have seen your family but I have thought of you each time someone asked me about my name. My parents, Larry and Lola Belle Ranard apparently lived near your family 55 years ago and named me after your mom/wife. Mom always claimed that she didn't know how Marlys spelled her name so I ended up with an "I" instead of a "y". My mom has been gone for 25 years but through her stories, your mom/wife sounded like a wonderful person. Treasure the memories and know that she touched many lives.
