Service Details
Ben McDaniels, 74, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012, at his home in Des Moines. He was born April 12, 1938, in Des Moines, to Agnes and Benjamin McDaniels.
Ben is survived by his son, John Wagner; grandson, Roscoe Wagner; sisters, Joan (Larry) Baker and Janice (Jerry) Chapman; cousins, Donna Hentges and Maxine Bailey; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Agnes McDaniels; his beloved pets, Scooter and Rowdy, as well as many friends.
Private family graveside services will be held at a later date at Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove, Iowa.

Rest in peace Cousin Ben! I have wonderful memories of growing up in our small family. You made me laugh and trusted me with your awesome cars back in the 1960s when I was a new driver. Thanks for remembering my birthday and for all of the cards at Christmas. You were a kind, generous soul and are leaving a huge hole in our family.
