COVID-19 Update

On March 17, 2020 at 10 AM, Governor Reynolds issued a State of Public Health Disaster Emergency.  Within that is the following:

Mass Gathering: Social, community, spiritual, religious, recreational, leisure, and sporting gatherings and events of more than 10 people are hereby prohibited at all locations and venues, including but not limited to parades, festivals, conventions, and fundraisers. Planned large gatherings and events must be canceled or postponed until after termination of this disaster.

Pertaining to Hamilton’s Funeral Home, mass gatherings include but are not limited to: Funerals, Memorial Services, Visitations, Graveside Services, Celebrations of Life, as well as funeral arrangements.

While we regret immensely that this has to happen, our top priority is to keep our client families as well as our employees safe.  We will be strictly enforcing that no more than 10 people may be gathered in the funeral home.  As a result, if you are coming to any of our locations for a visitation in the immediate future, you may be asked to wait outside for an extended period of time.

We will be putting a time limit on time spent in the funeral home for visitations so as to let everyone come in and pay their respects to the family.

Thank you for your patience, kindness, and thoughts as we try to help our families say goodbye to their loved ones.
