Our Staff

Mike Adamietz

Accounts Receivable Manager

Mike grew up in a small community in northwest Wisconsin and was a long time resident of Milwaukee. He and his wife Debbie moved to Iowa in 1998 and now reside on Des Moines’ South Side. Joining Hamilton's Funeral Home in April 2010 as a part time First Floor Manager / Family Service Assistant was quite a change from his more than 30 years experience in manufacturing, customer service, and manufacturing management. Mike joined Hamilton’s full time staff in September 2010 as part of the Accounting Department, where he is able to provide compassion and support for our customers and staff, assisting the funeral directors and client families with filing insurance claims and working to try to ease the financial worries of planning a funeral during their time of grief, as well as performing other accounts receivable functions.

Mike is an active member of Christ The King Parish serving with his wife Debbie as a sponsor couple for young people preparing for marriage, is a Mass Coordinator, Lay Minister, and assists with weddings and coordinating semi annual renewal retreats. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Honor Guard and enjoys helping with various community service activities. Mike enjoys gardening, walks in the woods, and spending time with family and friends, and especially enjoys Green Bay Packer Football!
