Holly Peterson Miller

Funeral Director - Vice President

Holly Peterson Miller has been assisting client families with memorial and disposition details since January 2000. She is an Iowa licensed funeral director. Holly is a third-generation owner/employee of Hamilton's Funeral Home.

She and her husband Ryan live in Altoona. She has two step-daughters: Erin who is in the Air Force, and Megan. She has a son, Alan, who died in January of 2005 when he was 5 ½ months old. Inspired by Little Al's courageous fight, and with the help of family and friends, Holly has implemented a beautiful Children's Garden at Hamilton's on Westown Parkway. This garden is reserved for children who have passed away. Quiet and colorful butterflies flit peacefully about the wrought iron statues honoring the children that are positioned around the Garden. Several times each year ceremonies are held in the Garden in remembrance of the children.

Holly enjoys reading, traveling, and playing with her dog, Airman. Her passion is helping other mothers and fathers who have had their child die.
